Edward joined the leadership team of Belasko in 2023, having been closely involved in the business since 2020 as an Investor and Client.

He has more than 19 years of experience within Private Equity, Private Credit and Real Estate in a range of leadership roles across investment and operations.

He joins with an extensive track record in building high performing teams across multi-jurisdictional platforms and deploying innovative technology to address complex client requirements.

Edward is based in London and divides his time across Belasko’s strategic locations (Guernsey, Jersey, UK and Luxembourg).

Paul joined Belasko in 2019 to lead the transformation of Belasko into the Next Generation of Fiduciary and Fund administration partner.

His career spans over 30 years in Financial Services including banking, private wealth and private capital and covers multiple jurisdictions. He has significant experience leading teams supporting clients investing into illiquid assets, particularly Real Estate, Private Equity and Debt. Paul has held board positions for a number of Management Companies and asset holding vehicles, where he brings his experience and focus on strong governance to add value to client structures.

Paul Nayar joined Belasko as Chief Financial & Operations Officer in January 2025, bringing over 30 years’ experience in the international finance industry. Paul has held senior leadership roles, including Group CFO at Crestbridge Group, where he led financial strategies driving significant growth and institutional investment. His career spans roles at PwC, RBSI International, Santander and Zedra showcasing his expertise in multi-jurisdictional operations for regulated funds, private client, corporate services and private banking businesses.

Based in Jersey, Paul is passionate about fostering innovation and operational excellence to support Belasko’s growth and client service goals. Outside work, he enjoys family time, sea swimming, racketball and hiking.

Greg joined Belasko in 2020 and is responsible for service delivery from Luxembourg.

Greg has accumulated 18+ years’ experience within the financial services industry covering the investment, fiduciary and banking sectors, specializing in alternative asset classes (PE, VC, Real Estate and Credit). Through this period Greg has led and participated in several strategic initiatives which include business development, product establishment, regulatory change, operating model refinement and on boarding complex new business across entrepreneurial and global servicing businesses with particular focus on Channel Island, Luxembourg, Ireland and the UK markets.

Greg has a wealth of directorship experience that cover global banks, fiduciary and administration businesses, in addition to investment management companies and regulated investment vehicles in Guernsey, Luxembourg, Ireland and the UK. Greg is a member of the Institute of Directors and has served industry associations throughout his career.

With 17 years of experience in Guernsey’s finance industry, Hannah has worked across fund administration, corporate services and company secretarial services. 

Hannah is an Associate of the Chartered Governance Institute and has a keen interest in how governance interplays with all areas of business from processes to people and culture. She is passionate about the development of people and the role of women in business.

Scott joined Belasko in late 2022 and is a Director in the Jersey office working across our Funds and Fiduciary teams.

Scott has over twenty years’ experience in the offshore finance industry working across the private wealth, corporate and funds sectors. He has held senior leadership roles and board level positions for the last decade and in this capacity has been active in strategic planning, risk management, product development, business development and change management, especially the adoption of RegTech solutions to enhance client experience.

Scott’s diverse background has seen him work with UHNW individuals, their families and advisers on structures holding a variety of asset classes, supporting the business activities of private and listed corporates and working with fund managers.    

Whether the client is an individual, a corporate or a fund manager Scott seeks to understand their needs and build strong, trusted relationships to enable him to work with the wider Belasko team to ensure we add value and deliver excellent client service.

Sugeeswaran Mahen (“Sugees”)  is a Director, Head of Private debt accounting.

He is responsible for private debt funds accounting. He has 18 years extensive experience in the offshore/onshore financial services industry specialising in investment funds accounting and administration. Sugees has particular experience with Private Debt, Private Equity and Real Estate structures. Previously he sat on the board for number of funds structures.

Sugees trained with PricewaterhouseCoopers and was a Senior Manager for Financial Services Audit & Assurance at Deloitte UK. Sugees is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Member of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association.

Adrian Franklin

Adrian joined Belasko in 2020 to Head up Group Operations and drive forward the strategic priorities of the Group.

His experience has been across listed, private equity, partnerships and family owned businesses. He is a business transformation and project specialist with over 25 years experience in senior financial services roles covering change management, business operations, financial control and information technology.

Adrian is focused on working with businesses to implement strategic change and deliver sustainable solutions. He has significant experience in system implementations, acquisitions and mergers, delivering regulatory change, transitional services agreements, business outsourcing and global procedural control changes. He uses his wealth of operational experience to work effectively with senior stakeholders, bring the best out of his peer group and empower the functional teams he directs. Adrian has a Masters in Business Administration from Herriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.

Sandeep Lamba

Sandeep joined Belasko in February 2024 to Head up Funds Operations.

In his role, he’s responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ongoing oversight of the Group Target Operating Model to support the delivery of client services. He leads the development of policies, procedures, and the overall control governance framework to drive ISAE 3402 compliance.

An Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Sandeep trained with PWC in Mumbai, and has 20+ years’ experience in financial services spanning across audit, assurance and fund administration, leading building performing teams and delivering value added services to clients and stakeholders.

In his spare time, Sandeep likes to spend time with his two boys, running for good health and practising breath work and meditation for mental well-being.

Nick joined Belasko during 2020, is based in London and leads our Fund Administration service offering.

Nick has over 15 years’ experience working with private equity, credit and real estate fund structures and is passionate about delivering excellent client service through the deployment of efficient processes and the effective use of technology. He has led on the transfer of complex fund administration and accounting mandates and in the implementation of ISAE 3402 compliant fund administration operating models.

Nick qualified with PwC and has held a number of board positions for regulated and unregulated fund structures (General Partners & Managers).

Katie joined Belasko in a newly created role as the Head of Learning and Development. 

Katie is responsible for the professional and personal development of all staff across the group. She supports the continued growth and progression of the Belasko team and champions wellbeing initiatives.  

With more than 17 years of experience working within the human resources industry, Katie holds a CIPD level 3 in training practice, CIPD level 5 in human resource management and CIPD level 7 in employment law, bringing a wealth of experience to her role.

Philippe Paul leads Belasko’s Investor Onboarding function based in Luxembourg, bringing 19 years of experience in fund administration, investor servicing, and regulatory oversight.

With a background in International Marketing and Finance, Philippe began his career as a fund accountant before expanding his expertise across accounting, oversight, regulatory reporting, and the launch and migration of international PERE structures. He has worked with major investment servicing firms, gaining deep experience in client lifecycle management, investor acceptance, and onboarding processes.

A native of France, Philippe studied Business Administration in Paris and Hamburg. He values clear communication and client-centric service, and his approach is defined by a strong process-driven mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence in investor servicing.

Outside of work, Philippe enjoys spending time with his family, classical guitar, practicing judo, attending concerts, and discovering unknown local places.

James joined Belasko with more than 30 years of experience within trust and corporate fiduciary sectors.

He spent a number of years working in Bermuda after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, before returning to Jersey where he has since held senior positions in a number of fiduciary services businesses.

James’s focus has always primarily been on Private Client services, developing long-term personal relationships with clients and their families, assisting them to fulfil their succession plans, preserving and enhancing wealth through the generations.

John joined Belasko in January 2021 as a Director in our Luxembourg office and is responsible for central administration operations.

John has over 13 years’ investment fund industry experience in Luxembourg. He previously held the position of Director of Client Services – Private Equity at a leading fund administrator, managing several teams of accountants, corporate lawyers as well as the Investor Services team, providing central administration services to both regulated and unregulated Alternative Investment structures.

In addition to leading operational teams, John also served on the board of a limited number of CSSF regulated vehicles. John previously held the role of supervisor on the alternatives desk of a global bank. John holds a BA (hons) in Public Administration from the University of Limerick, Ireland. John is an avid music fan, and also enjoys mountain biking, cooking, and travelling with his wife and two young daughters.

Emily, who’s based in our Jersey office, has more than 15 years of experience working within the island’s finance industry, and has experience working with real estate funds, unit trusts, private funds, new business take-on, company secretarial and private client wealth management.

She is a full STEP member, holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients as well as also holding the ICSA Professional Diploma in Governance and the ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration. In her free time Emily enjoys being outdoors and keeping fit, as well as having a passion for reading, travel, cooking and baking.

Justine has experience working with clients and intermediaries in the Channel Islands, UK, Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean and has previously worked for both international and independent Jersey trust companies.

Meng joined Belasko in 2023 to support the existing fund and corporate service offerings, drive growth in new business and contribute to operational efficiency and governance frameworks.

Meng specialises in client delivery assurances, data management and controls and corporate governance for various fund structures domiciled in Jersey. He has over a decade’s experience in offshore finance, with in depth knowledge of accounting and administration on private equity structures, with a particular focus on fund of funds, venture capital and ancillary carry and co-investment entities. Throughout his career, he has participated in business process evaluations, contributed to internal company frameworks and projects to drive business transformation.
