I started my career focused on mastering the detail, regulations, policies, and the structure that underpins good governance. Today, as Head of Compliance for the pension arm of the business, my role is more about leadership, culture, and helping others grow.

A big part of who I am as a leader comes from outside the office, I’ve spent 15 years coaching netball for Guernsey’s island youth teams, and it’s taught me that clarity, consistency, and belief in people are powerful forces, whether you’re on court or in a boardroom.

Best advice from a female mentor?
“You don’t have to be the loudest voice to make the biggest impact.” For people that know me, I can hear them laughing as this now, and it’s very much something I strive to do better at every day.
This has stayed with me and is helping shape how I lead.

A defining moment?
Coaching a squad who didn’t believe they could compete at a higher level and watching them qualifying, when they trusted themselves and the team. It reminded me that confidence is built step by step, through encouragement, resilience, and showing up even on tough days.

What “Give to Gain” means to me:
Sharing knowledge, supporting others, and investing in people so we all rise together. You gain stronger teams, better decisions, and a healthier culture when you give generously.

Whether in compliance or coaching, the most rewarding part of leadership is seeing others grow into their confidence and potential.
